Young Shetland based band ‘Sheer’ is comprised of;

Scott Priest (Bass)

Brydon Sales (Guitar)

Ewan Moncrieff (Drums)

Josh Smith (Vocals)

The band began when three members met while attending the Shetland College UHI and taking part in the HNC Music course. Brydon and Ewan first began jamming together and instantly began writing songs. They eventually came to the realization they would benefit from bass and vocals, then recruited Scott Priest and Josh Smith. The band has so far only released two singles called ‘Chapel’ and ‘Throw, Retrieve, Repeat,’ which can be found in the Audio Page. They are now setting out to record the accumulation of songs they have and play live as much as possible.

David Sandison & the Tennessee Wannabes

Shetland based function band ‘David Sandison & the Tennessee Wannabes’ is comprised of;
David Sandison (Vocals/Acoustic Guitar)
Matthew Scollay (Bass/Keyboard)
Brydone Williamson (Lead Guitar)
Alexander Johnson (Mandolin)
Brydon Sales (Drums)

This band began in late 2016. The band was originally a 4-piece with a different drummer. 10 days before the band’s first gig in the Delting Boating Club the original drummer was unable to make it. The band then approached Brydon Sales with the role of drummer. He accepted and has played every gig the band has had since. A few months later the band would add a 5th member, Alexander Johnson. The band then continued to gig all through the isles of Shetland. In their first year the band would play around 30 gigs, appear on the local radio twice, and are still in high demand in 2018.
